Benefits & Compensation

Asset Acceptance offers excellent benefits including comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off for holidays and three weeks of vacation starting the first year. We also offer an above-market 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long and short term disability and an employee assistance program.

Asset Acceptance offers eligible associates the following benefits and compensation rewards:

Monthly bonus plan: Account Representatives are eligible for a generous bonus program. Support staff are also eligible for a monthly bonus or an annual discretionary bonus based on the overall performance of the Company.

Flextime: Flexible work schedules are offered when Account Representatives meet the eligibility requirements. Flextime allow Account Representatives to work the hours they elect, provided they work the scheduled mandatory late night, mandatory Saturdays and mandatory end of the month day.

Tuition Assistance Program (TAP): We provide reimbursement for job-related undergraduate and graduate courses within degreed programs at accredited colleges, universities and technical institutions across the country. Full time associates may take advantage of this program after six months of employment.

Paid vacation: Asset Acceptance offers three weeks paid vacation in the first year of employment and four weeks after 10 years. New associates may start using vacation time after six months of employment.

Paid holidays: The following holidays are paid: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Health insurance: Three comprehensive health insurance plans are offered and include hospitalization, office visits and prescription drug coverage. Each plan provides broad coverage with in-network and out-of-network benefits available. A limited benefit plan is also offered to part-time associates.

Dental: Asset Acceptance offers a comprehensive dental plan including orthodontia. Coverage is offered through MetLife and extends to eligible dependents.

Vision: Asset Acceptance offers vision coverage for all eligible associates and their dependents at no additional cost.

Short-term disability/Long-term disability: Asset Acceptance covers contributions in full.

Life insurance/Accidental death & dismemberment: Asset Acceptance covers contributions in full. Group Life Insurance is paid to your named beneficiary in the event of your death.

401(k) retirement plan: The Company offers a generous dollar-for-dollar match on the first 3% of associate contribution and 50 cents on the dollar match for associate contributions of 4-6%. Eligibility occurs quarterly following four months of continuous employment.

Dependent care reimbursement plan: The plan allows associates to allocate funds for reimbursement of out-of-pocket dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis.
